mc chris (aka Christopher Ward) grew up in the upper middle class suburbs of Chicago, attended the School of the Art Institue there before moving to New York to study screenwriting at NYU. While studying at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, mc was discovered by Dave WIllis, creator of Aqua Teen Hunger Force. mc went on to play characters on several Adult Swim shows including Welcome to Eltingville, ATHF, Sealab 2021, The Brak Show, Cheyenne Cinnamon and the Fantabulous Unicorn of Sugar Town Candy Fudge, and the upcoming Tight Bro's. mc not only lent his voice but also was head animator on Sealab, a writer on Brak and a producer at Williams St. Since 2005, mc chris has devoted the majority of his time releasing three new records and touring the nation nonstop. After leaving Cartoon Network as an employee, mc still lent his voice to the ATHF movie, the ATHF video game, as well as three Adult Swim pilots. mc's next Adult Swim appearance is in the one hundredth episode of ATHF (May 2.) In the past two years, mc chris and his fans have raised over 60,000 dollars to fight Cysitc Fibrosis. mc has been featured in the New York Times, Time, Newsweek, Playboy, High Times and Spin. His music was most recently heard in Kevin Smith's "Zak and Miri Make a Porno." This is mc's first appearnace as a standup, but he's been talking too much during his rap shows for a long time.
